 We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Ad Sales Special Projects Manager to oversee and execute special content projects within the advertising sales department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating complex initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration between cross-functional teams, and driving the successful delivery of high-impact advertising projects. This role demands an individual who excels at problem-solving, communication, and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.




Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage special projects within the advertising sales department, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting business objectives.
  • Develop project timelines, define milestones, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.
  • Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting for special projects.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, creative, and sales to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.


  • Process Optimization:
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for improving advertising sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new processes, tools, and strategies that support the overall sales team goals.


  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Support sales teams in the development and presentation of high-priority advertising proposals and campaigns.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients or partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and special projects.


  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Track and report the progress of special projects, including key performance indicators (KPIs), budget adherence, and timeline milestones.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status and any potential risks or challenges.


  • Creative and Strategic Input:
  • Collaborate with creative and sales teams to develop innovative advertising solutions and promotional strategies.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic planning for new advertising products and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising sales, project management, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding about sports.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising sales lifecycle, from concept to execution.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, sales teams, and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar platforms).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sports and digital advertising or media sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics tools.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Hybrid work environment (Minimum 3 days at the office).
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
